Becky and Jeff were excited when they found out Becky was expecting. From the moment little Ryan was born, his parents loved him and were in awe as new parents. Over time, Ryan has developed quite the personality. He likes to rest his hands behind his head when he is tired, just like his Auntie. His daycare calls him Grandpa for this very reason. He is also very social. His newest skill is waving at every person he passes. As Ryan was approaching one year old, his parents suddenly knew all the clichés were true: A year goes by so fast. In celebration of Ryan’s 1st birthday (and their first year as parents!), Becky scheduled a cake smash session with KM Photography. Having loved our work, Becky was happy to support her childhood friend’s business. Ryan had a good breakfast and was well rested; ready for his session! Like most one year olds, he didn’t sit still for long but we got great smiles from him during his traditional session. Then, during the cake smash, he sat and devoured the cake like an expert! His parents were nervous about whether he would cry too much or move too much, but said, “Kirsten was great with getting his attention and getting him to smile”. In the end, the Weeks’ family had a wonderful session that captured Ryan the Lion's personality at one. They have digital files to share with loved ones and the opportunity to purchase archival, legacy art that can be passed down to Ryan and his own children. Creating art is important to KM Photography and creating art for old friends is even more special!
