Glad to see you again, loyal blog readers! I'm back again with another session featuring the oh-so-charming Kenna Jaymes. Kenna’s parents, Kate and Brian, were lucky enough to win a milestone session for Kenna, who was about to turn 9 months old. I think I was pretty lucky, too. They are such a sweet family! Miss Kenna loves Mickey and Minnie- who helped Kenna smile during her session. She loves to sing so we played music and sang along during her session. Speaking of Kenna's mom, Kate did a fabulous job prepping her for this 9 month milestone session. She was very easy going, allowing me to help style the classic session. We got to use some new backdrops, props, and a couple outfits from my studio collection, as well as the adorable green outfit that Kenna brought with her. Kate and Brian even brought a balloon, which Kenna had loads of fun with! Anyway, I'll get straight to it. Check out pictures of little Kenna below: P.S. Want to learn more about my milestone packages? Check out all the details here. Email me to learn about individual milestone session prices as well. ![]()

Becky and Jeff were excited when they found out Becky was expecting. From the moment little Ryan was born, his parents loved him and were in awe as new parents. Over time, Ryan has developed quite the personality. He likes to rest his hands behind his head when he is tired, just like his Auntie. His daycare calls him Grandpa for this very reason. He is also very social. His newest skill is waving at every person he passes. As Ryan was approaching one year old, his parents suddenly knew all the clichés were true: A year goes by so fast. In celebration of Ryan’s 1st birthday (and their first year as parents!), Becky scheduled a cake smash session with KM Photography. Having loved our work, Becky was happy to support her childhood friend’s business. Ryan had a good breakfast and was well rested; ready for his session! Like most one year olds, he didn’t sit still for long but we got great smiles from him during his traditional session. Then, during the cake smash, he sat and devoured the cake like an expert! His parents were nervous about whether he would cry too much or move too much, but said, “Kirsten was great with getting his attention and getting him to smile”. In the end, the Weeks’ family had a wonderful session that captured Ryan the Lion's personality at one. They have digital files to share with loved ones and the opportunity to purchase archival, legacy art that can be passed down to Ryan and his own children. Creating art is important to KM Photography and creating art for old friends is even more special!
![]() The first time I met Audriana, I thought she was the absolute sweetest little girl. Gorgeous and tiny...a sweet little voice. I would soon realize, there is more to this little girl then sugar...she has some spice too! I don't think Audriana's parents will have to worry much about her when she gets older because this girl is MIGHTY and STRONG. At a summertime cookout, Audriana and my son Mason slowly warmed up to each other and played side by side. They may be less then a month apart, but what Mason lacked in communication skills compared to Audri, he made up for is SIZE! Soon, they both had their hearts set on the same power wheel. Audriana was in it, then Mason was in it...slowly building up tension. Before we knew it, Audriana was yanking Mason out by his shirt and then Mason was climbing the hood trying to get back at her. Never in my life was I so scared but also so amused! After that day, I was sure these two would never be friends, but low and behold, they get so excited to see one another! These tough cookies certainly impressed one another and I think they will have each other's backs for a longtime. Happy Birthday, Audriana! Each year you grow, you are closer to becoming an amazing young lady! Charlie loves having her picture taken, so I promised her a custom milestone session for her birthday...designed by her! She is so enthusiastic to model for my mini sessions...so imagine her excitement when she got to design her very own birthday portrait session! From the background color, banner, and outfit, Charlie picked it all. She even got to chose the theme of course. It can be hard to sneak in the sessions of my kids that are just for fun, so I was glad Charlie kept on me about doing her birthday session. We had so much fun and I got to teach her a little bit more about what goes into planning a session (and editing!). Happy sixth birthday, Charlie! Who is your favorite person? "Mason...and other ones too...Izzy, Mommy, Daddy, the whole family" Who is your hero? "Mason, because he is so nice" What is your favorite color? "Yellow" What are you really good at? "Dancing" What do you want to be when you grow up? "A teacher and a photographer and a restaurant owner" What song do you love? "Me Too, by Meghan Trainor" What is your favorite food? "Probably, tiny chicken fingers" What is your favorite outfit? "I love dresses" What is your favorite activity? "Basketball, with my friends. I also love karate and dance!" If you had one wish, what would it be? "To live on the lake in New Hampshire"
