When Sarah first mentioned doing a retro-inspired shoot, I had a billion ideas running through my head and Sarah came armed with great props she wanted to use. We were both so excited for this shoot. This beach shoot is only the first part of her session.... Sarah and I had so much fun with this shoot! And, the best part about that is that you can see it in her pictures! Sarah is so naturally beautiful. All her pictures came out beautifully. I made sure to get some sultry pictures as well and was happy to hear her husband had no idea she was here doing the shoot!
I won't give too many hints about the next part of her shoot....but I am glad to have a friend who is able to help us find some very special props!

Oh, look! Here he comes! This post will be jam packed with pictures, way more then usual. I just can't choose my favorites! Notice the three balloons? We started with more... Apparently, the only thing my fat baby (yes, mine...that is why I can't choose my favorite pictures!) loves more then cake is popping balloons. Once he was done with his balloon carnage, he found his prize...the cake! Yummy! This isn't just any old cake though. It was made by my wonderful friend, Rose, from Shiny Ball Creations right here in Attleboro. I think Mason agreed, it was almost too good to smash. But, it sure does taste good! Want some? Soon, the cake was destroyed and Mason had his fill. On to bath time! Let me just put out a warning.... Scrolling down may be hazardous to your health. Some of the upcoming pictures contain naked baby booty...view at your own risk! Major cuteness ahead. Mason was not a fan of standing in the tub, but he did get a kick out of scrubbing himself with the bubbles. And, don't say I didn't warn you....check out those rolls!
Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to document a 50th anniversary party in Brookline. As with a lot of places I have been lately, I enjoyed driving somewhere new and meeting new people. Not only was it great to get in some candid shooting, but I really enjoy watching people interact, and they had plenty of guests! This family was purely wonderful to get to know. Take another look at this picture...see the shark. It was important for them to have him in the picture. I really want to know what the inside joke is about the shark! The McConnell's and their family love to laugh...and I laughed right along with them! Fifty years is an inspiring accomplishment. It isn't hard to see all the love within their family, that started with this couple fifty years ago. Congratulations, Mike & Mary! Enjoy many, many more years of happiness!
